Metronomy, an iconic rhythm

My friend had told me "You need to watch this video" so I was kinda agog, the video started and I immediately listened the indie ingredient with an iconic bass line, match with a light blue ocean angle, women on white swimsuits, four persons on champagne clothing, it was like a tumblr ocean projection, and it was with "The Bay" that I knew the pleasant Metronomy

Metronomy is the dance-meets-rock project of London-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Joseph Mount. They are the british Famasloop and I say this, not for their musical style, just for the experimental principle, something that you can hear in their Metronomy's beginning, and afterwards in their posterior albums, a sigh more electronic of course, but with rock touches, and an iconic rhythms, experimental rhythms, they sound like if Ratatat were a band, that will probably how they sound. Listen to this songs, from the first album  "Pip Paine (Pay The £5000 You Owe)"

(If you pull off that guitar sound and add the iconic Ratatat's guitar will probably sound like them, also remind me kinda The Thing Things).

So well, Metronomy will be integrated by Joseph Mount (composer, singer, keyboards and guitar), Oscar Cash (saxophone, backing vocals, guitars and keyboards), Anna Prior (drums and vocals) yes, is a SHE and Gbenga Adelekan (bass guitar and vocals). So let's start by they have released four albums of original material, Pip Paine (Pay The £5000 You Owe)Nights Out and The English Riviera (April 2011)[while their fourth studio album titled Love Letters was released on 10 March 2014.

Bands generally change their sounds as albums they made, for example you will listen a different Metronomy from my favorite "Nights Out" to the "The English Riviera" or the final "Love Letters" well you could choose from this awesome repertoire your favs, this is the idea with this posts to have in a top 5 the best of a band for those who don't like to spend time listening complete albums, oh well, I love do that, It's a part of me, listen albums and new music everyday.

Did I not convince you?  Well, click to the song that convinced me! This is The Bay

Metronomy uses a main act song, for the beginning, or at least in The English Riviera and Nights Out. The melancholic "Nights Outro" is a sensational final, is the last step of dissolution of this album, just try to imagine images from this special song, it's genius.

Finally I invite you to listen this awesome band, one of my favorite ones, with peculiar sounds, this is my week's top 5, ENJOY!
